Fencing is one of the oldest Olympic sporting disciplines. The FIS-affiliated Fencing Club in Bozen’s Reschenstrasse offers courses for children, teenagers and adults and participates in competitions across the land.
The club acts as a contact point and organiser for various athletics and triathlon events, with the latter a particular interest of Exzelent RE.
WSV Brixen has had a figure-skating section since 1949, offering training to beginners and advanced skaters in this multifaceted sport. The top group aims at competition-level training.
Samuel De Chiara from Bozen was born with a physical handicap, but is now regarded as one of the world’s top table-tennis players. He is a member of the Italian Paralympic team and repeatedly excels on both the national and international stages.
The pole-vault meeting in the little town of Schlanders has become one of South Tyrol’s sporting highlights. The proximity to spectators and exciting atmosphere have seen the competition enjoy an ever-increasing popularity.
Exzelent RE has been supporting the “Fifth Quarter”, a six-month project of the eco-social design course at the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen, which once more saw the staging of the “innermost values” of beef in the context of a first-class culinary event at Bozen’s Maretsch Castle.
This unique international congress brings together top mountaineers, young alpinists, climbers and mountain lovers from all round the world to one venue, where they can celebrate a very special mountain festival.
